Apps make our lives easier. We now have AI personalities that connect with apps so we don’t have to touch a button. There are apps for almost everything!
Here is a list of 5 interesting app ideas we wish someone would create.
1. Is It Worth It?
What the app would do: Tells you if you should get out of bed for a social event.
You know that thing you said you’d go to two weeks ago that you’re now dreading? This app takes into account the people going, the weather, the WiFi availability, and your energy level.
Based on that complex algorithm it tells you if your presence and energy is worth it. It’ll also give you an anxiety prediction if you don’t go.
The anxiety calculation calculates how many times you’ve canceled in that friend group. If it’s a high anxiety prediction, the “Is It Worth It” score goes up.
2. Just Me?
What the app would do: Tells you if you had a unique thought.
Have you ever been in the shower or woken up with a thought you think is unique? There are seven billion people in the world, so it’s probably not.
However, this app tells you if anyone has ever written it down or expressed it in general. You’d type your idea in a few similar but alternating phrases and it searches the internet.
Then it would give you a yay or nay based on the results.
Congrats! You’re only one of three people who have had this thought. You’re a little unique!😛
3. Bring Me
What the app would do: Connects you with local people who are traveling to bring you back unique items.
There are bakeries in Paris worth teleporting to. Unfortunately teleportation isn’t real yet.
This app would connect you with someone who lives near you, but is traveling to another location or abroad.
It would connect the two of you and you can ask them to bring you home some food item, unique piece of clothing, a type of tea, or really anything legal to transport.
The app then calculates a midway meetup point for you to meet them once they’re back home.
4. Should I Stop?
What the app would do: Tells you if you’re arguing about something you have no knowledge of.
When you get in an argument just turn on “Should I Stop”. The advanced speech recognition does a real-time relevancy search for your argument.
Based on the correctness of what you’re saying or the relevancy of your argument, it tells you to stop or not.
You’re getting over your head in this argument – you should stop. It would then give you a few phrase suggestions to end the conversation with dignity.
5. Fake Mom
What the app would do: Practices hard conversations with your mom.
Pick your mom with FM’s personality picker: choose her argument type, political views, etc.
Once you build your fake mom, text her conversations you need to have in real life. “Mom, I have two kids on the way and I ghosted their moms”.
Fake mom then gives three likely responses to your confession, helping you prepare for the conversation in real life.
Apps Ideas That Need to Be Made
Alright. We have to admit that some of these apps ideas might be a little over the top – like the idea of creating an AI mom for Fake Mom.
Other app ideas, like Bring Me, are very practical and realistic. You could easily make that app idea a reality.
However, with hard work and determination, all of these apps ideas are truly possible.
The only question is, will you be the one to put the hard work in?
