Nick Bonvillian had an amazing app idea to solve a common problem — finding the perfect gift. Continue reading to see how BrainyApps helped turn Nick’s dream into reality with WhaChuWant app.
Nick Bonvillian is a husband, father, factory production worker, and app inventor.
Bonvillian, from Muncie, Indiana, is 38 years old and loves spending time with his wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs, and fish (we’re not sure how many).
When he isn’t spending time coaching, playing sports, or enjoying outdoor activities with his family, you can find him inventing and building.
It’s this creative, ingenious spirit that led Mr. Bonvillian to make his awesome app, WhaChuWant.
In our recent interview with him, he explained how he originally came up with his amazing app idea:
I was doing some online shopping and adding items to my cart. When I went to purchase items, I decided to save a couple of the selected items for later. I later thought it would be nice if my family could view and purchase those items from my list, so I wouldn’t have to be asked what I wanted for my upcoming birthday. That is when I began researching the idea online.
Realizing that ideas are worthless without taking action, Nick ran with his idea and did not stop until his dream became a reality.
For starters, Bonvillian knew he needed an expert app development company to make his app.
After running into some setbacks and issues with his initial app developer, an associate recommended switching to BrainyApps.
Nick’s perseverance paid off and BrainyApps finally brought his app idea to life.
We even made a cool explainer video that shows how his unique gift registry app works.
Check it out below!
Nick Bonvillian explains his app idea by saying:
This is an app that acts as a gift registry for any item or favor with friends and family (chosen by the user) to create the best gift giving and receiving of gifts for special occasions, holidays, and personal days of celebration.
No longer will you need those dreadful e-mails, group text messages, or handwritten wish lists for birthdays and special occasions.
Advice For Fellow App Inventors
Reflecting back on the app development process, Mr. Bonvillian gives the following advice to fellow app inventors: “Be very patient.”
Making an app involves a lot of details, a team of talented people, and is not as easy as you may assume.
However, working with BrainyApps allowed Nick the freedom to go about his normal day, while having peace of mind from working with an experienced, professional app development team that has brought hundreds of apps to market.
By working closely with fellow app inventors, we can make nearly any app idea become a reality.
